Austin, January 8 - Emerson today announced the acquisition of damcos AG, Danfoss of nordborg, Denmark, and dankes management team from the UK 3I group. The terms of the acquisition agreement were not disclosed
dankes is a leading supplier of valve remote control systems and cabin monitoring equipment for the global marine and offshore markets. John Berra, President of Emerson Process Management, said, "we are pleased that Danks' cabin management product carburized layer is obvious. And system technology has joined Emerson's family. This key acquisition has further expanded our leadership in the field of process control products and services in the marine and shipbuilding industries."
dankes, located in Naestved, Denmark, was founded in 1960 and began to be a leading supplier of hydraulic equipment for the local shipbuilding industry. Since the early 1990s, the company has developed into a leading global supplier of ship brakes and complete cabin management solutions. Since 2004, dankes has become a strategic partner with Emerson to sell Saab Rosemount tankradar to the tanker manufacturing market. Even the most perfect mold can not play a good role in protecting poor machines. Dankes has manufacturing plants in naisfor, Denmark, Busan, South Korea and Shanghai, China. The acquisition includes all technologies, manufacturing plants and employees of dankes
